Jeff Hwang’s Omaha Poker Strategy - The Big Play Strategy

hwwang Beginners will not and when they do, face the problem of just being called. I've read a few books on the game over the years, but none of them has ever been comprehensive until now. Lots of hand examples and a series of hand quiz examples in the back that are helpful.

We really liked the logic of this section — working backwards to find which hands make those nut hands with redraws which are gy desirable. To be fair, I'd only recently started wondering about that. Omaha offers more action and bigger pots than Texas Hold'em.

Examples can include flopping the nut straight while holding higher straight cards — giving you the nuts with 4 or 8 outs to an even higher straight. Deep and insightful, this technical book is required to be read twice to opker get the practical elements of PL Omaha Hi play. Smaller pots are an essential element of any Omaha poker game, and Hwang does not dismiss their importance, however these are seen as a by-product of setting yourself up for the biggest pots of all.
